Welcome to Benchmark #315 With room for 11, Benchmark #315 is the larger of our two condos at Angel Fire Resort. Most of the furniture is brand new since Autumn 2004, when we purchased this unit. Cathedral ceilings in the entryway and living room give way to a loft above the kitchen. A spiral staircase connects the dining room and the loft bedrooms. A new gas-fired Jotul stove has been added in the living room for the ambience and warmth of a fireplace without the smell, smoke or mess and with no need to haul wood or wake up to a cold condo. Both bedrooms and the loft also have electric baseboard heaters to accommodate individual heating requirements. This condo comfortably sleeps 9 without using the queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has a four-poster queen bed. The traffic flow is ideal, as each sleeping area has access to its own bathroom facilities. The loft has a half-bath so there is no need to come downstairs in the middle of the night. The master bath has a two-person Jacuzzi tub and tile floors and tub surround. A divided bathroom with tub/shower combination and separate sink area is conveniently situated for the second bedroom and main living area. A stacked washer/dryer unit is located in the kitchen next to the pantry, so clothes can always be dry before heading out to the slopes or river the next day. We hope you'll get in touch and come enjoy our new vacation home. Don and Cyndie Nelson |

Wheeler Peak--New Mexico’s highest point--is clearly visible to the northwest, the Colorado Rockies can be seen to the north, and practically the whole valley is spread out before you. The master bath has a two-person Jacuzzi tub with tile floors and tub surround. |
And
don't forget the view ![]() The 2005 Angel Fire Balloon Rally took place on July 16-17. The view from Benchmark was (as usual) excellent. Our son and daughter-in-law flew in a balloon on the second day, courtesy of Resort Properties, one of the event's sponsors (it's the mostly yellow one that's second highest).
